Hannah and Canyon's Wedding Day | Chestnut Center for the Arts | Marshfield, WI
This wedding was so near and dear to my heart. As you most of your know my best friend Birdie. This was her little sister’s wedding. We have all been good friends for years so my little daughter Lucille was actually the adorable little flower girl as well. We have been talking for year about how we couldn’t wait for Hannah to get married and when she finally met the one we all couldn’t have been more excited!!
Hannah and Canyon are a couple of the most kindest people you will ever encounter. They didn’t let anything get in the way of their wedding day and there has been so much flooding that their ceremony location was not going to happen and a last minute venue came to rescue called the Chestnut Center of the Arts that they booked the day before their wedding!
Their wedding day was full of so many amazing sentimental moments. The first being Canyon got his bride a constellation map of what the stars looked like on their wedding day which brought Hannah to tears. Hannah’s father was in the Navy and he wore his dress whites just for her wedding day that he hadn’t worn in years.
Let’s talk about how they turned a gymnasium into a magical romantic space that just had everyone in awe of the transformation when they walked in. For their reception Canyon and Hannah learned how to do a beautiful dance for their first dance as husband and wife.
After formalities Hannah and her sister’s surprised their parents with a dance dedicated to them since they didn’t have a wedding to have a first dance at and there wasn’t a dry eye in the place as their parents embraced each other on the dance floor like they never had gotten to before. The night ended with up beat dancing and one of Hannah’s bridemaids getting proposed to during the bouquet toss! So many beautiful wonderful moments I could go on and on but I will let the images speak for themselves.
